Matilda hits the California Theatre stage

The hit musical adaptation of Roald Dahl's renowned children's novel Matilda comes to San Bernardino in March and May 2020. Matilda tells the celebrated tale of a gifted little girl with an incredible intellect who is determined to take control of her destiny. Using her newly discovered telekinetic powers to fight back against the tyrannical head teacher Miss Trunchbull, it's a timeless story of willpower and, ultimately, compassion.

Since its debut in 2010 Matilda - The Musical has gone on to win over 50 major awards across the globe, including 5 Laurence Olivier Awards, 5 Tony Awards and a Grammy nomination. It was adapted by Dennis Kelly (writer of Utopia) with music and lyrics by Australian musical-comedian Tim Minchin.
